Arianna Landis died at Hershey Medical Center on Nov. 11, 2022, as detailed in her obituary.
Emergency responders were called to a report of a person struck by a vehicle in the 500 block of York Haven Road in Newberry Township shortly after 7 a.m., on Oct. 26, 2022, as the area police detailed in a release that afternoon.
The Northeastern School District in Machester announced that she suffered serious injuries, was taken to an area hospital, and later died.
Arianna was a member of 4-H, a volunteer for Central PA Horse Rescue, and a member of the Susquehanna Fire Company in York Haven, according to her obituary.
She continues to be deeply missed by her community.
Marie C. Mcgahan of W. Market Street in Red Lion was arrested on June 30, 2023, on the following charges, according to Newberry Township police:
- Felony Homicide By Vehicle.
- Summary Meeting/Overtaking School Bus.
- Summary Careless Driving - Unintentional Death.
- Summary Careless Driving.
- Summary Failure To Comply License Restriction.
Mcgahan entered the non-negotiated plea before Judge Amber A. Kraft on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
Her sentencing is scheduled before Judge Kraft on Aug. 29 at 10 a.m.
